Thankyou for visiting my little creative corner of the inter-web! 

My name is Sharon and I am the chief creator, artist, marketing manager, photographer, assembler and social media manager behind Rae & Lilly. 

If you have read my "About Me Page" you will now know that I am a girl who creates handmade earrings and clutch bags (& soon to be new products joining the R&L family)! 

You would have read that I have been diagnosed with PTSD after being exposed to some rather traumatic incidents at my 'other job' and you would have read that I am one of many people who have learned to live with this sometimes harrowing condition.

You would have also read that creating and using my brain is one of the many coping mechanisms I turn to when I need to switch off from the other stuff going on in my world!

I am not going to lie, my journey has been one filled with challenges, fear, frustration and downright anger! - But I am here. I am upright. I am a happy, healthy and functioning woman who is here to tell you that anything is possible. That if you set your mind to something, you can do whatever you like. (Even when everything around you feels hopeless!) 

My little blog posts will be filled with information about my creations, and things I love to do most. I will share stories about how I have coped with some of the yucky stuff that I have endured in my career as a first responder.

I hope to reduce the stigma's surrounding mental health and I plan on making this little corner of the world a better place!
